Three more events took place on Wednesday, with Event #17, the $800 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack seeing a mammoth field of 4,732 produce a prize pool of $3,331,328 and a top prize of $368,977. Leading the remaining 310 players is James Calderaro who totalled 2.44 million at the close of play, with Rafael Reis (1,325,000), Daniel Strelitz (1,105,000) and Shaun Deeb (770,000) all inside the top 80 players. Where is the World Series of Poker held?
The defending World Series of Poker Main Event champion is the United States' Daniel Weinman, who won the 2023 WSOP Main Event, taking home $12,100,000 in prize money. He topped a field of 10,043 players, the largest Main Event in WSOP history.
